FAQ
What Should I Wear?
Layered clothing is a good idea, mornings are cold on the bay, but it can warm up out there. If you have rubber boots wear them. If not it will be fine. Flip flops or any open toed shoe not recommended.
What Do I Need to Bring?
All your Gear & Bait is included but you will need to bring your own Sport Fishing License, if you are 16 & over. Bring a print out of this fishing license with your information, (not a gift voucher). Please purchase before arrival, by visiting the DFG website here or purchase one at the harbor tackle shop (cash only).
Feel free to bring your own snacks and beverages, alcoholic beverages are fine.
Where Do I Park & Find the Boat?
We dock in the Santa Cruz Harbor at S DOCK SLIP 5, via your maps app we recommend putting in Johnny’s Harbor Side Restaurant, as that will bring you near dock where we are located.
Be sure to park at a meter, not a slip renter parking spot. Then buy the $13 day pass either at the kiosk or in the tackle shop (cash only).
Please arrive 15 minutes early & wait at the top of dock until instructed to board the boat. Our Crew will come to give you a bathroom key and gate key!
What if I or someone in my party gets sea sick?
We do our best to ensure your comfort and safety. Yet with mixed groups of people, if someone gets sick, you will have to tough it out. We are unable to bring you back to the dock in most cases. Sorry!
Bonine and Dramamine are encouraged for people who are prone to sea sickness.
